Breathe

You can’t help but breathe more freely at the Navy Yard. It’s not just that getting here is easy or that parking is plentiful. It’s the air. The water. The trees and walking paths. The Navy Yard is the antidote to crowded city streets, parking challenges and airless elevators.

Park
Yourself

The Navy Yard is dotted with parks with over 20 acres of public spaces each providing a different setting and serving different purposes. At the center of it all is the 4.5-acre Central Green, home to a running track, ping-pong tables, an amphitheater, bocce, bistro tables, hammocks, chairs and lounges from which to work, read and relax. It’s a place where you hang with friends, walk a dog, or just find serenity.  Other parks provide fields for sports leagues, quiet contemplation space, outdoor yoga, or waterfront running trails.

 Take in
the Views

Move across the Navy Yard for views you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Marvel at the WWII ships docked in the Ship Basin by the main gates. Get perspective by standing at the waterfront near Urban’s campus. Or sit beside the Delaware River from anywhere along the six miles of waterfront and take in the sights and sounds.

Commute.
Visit.
Enjoy.

Six miles of waterfront. More than 20 acres of green space across five parks. There’s nothing like it anywhere else in the City of Philadelphia.  Need a lift? The campus operates Navy Yard Shuttle Buses to and from points around the City and within the campus. Take the train? The Shuttle stops at the NRG Station, too. Rather drive? Take the bus? SEPTA Bus 45 is extending service to the Navy Yard this year. The Navy Yard is easily accessible from I-95 and Broad Street/Rt. 611, and parking is plentiful.
